In the application header you will find :

- A shopping cart recall button.
- A menu button, in this menu you can list your static pages.
- A reminder button of the home page.
- A button that opens the category menu.
- A powerful search engine.
- A slide show of featured products, which can be disengaged and configured (automatic playback) from your management interface.

The store categories menu :

You can enter as many categories and subcategories as you want, there is no limit.

In your management interface, you can add, modify or delete categories.

  The category system goes even further :

- You will be able to move entire blocks of categories and sub-categories into others.
- You can modify the architecture of your categories at will.

  Note: To do this, we used the representation of data by tree, branches, leaves.
- "The Interval representation".

Quite a nice feature ! 

Products display :

Products are rendered randomly on the homepage so your visitors don't see the same products every time they visit your store.

Displaying products on the home page seemed essential to us.

The application has product sorting systems like displaying N products per page, sorting items by price order, searching for a term among items.

A pagination system allows fluid navigation between the different pages.

There are two product display modes :
- In mosaic and online.
  You can configure the default display of products from your management interface.

Product page :

Each product has its own page and this page is directly accessible by URL.
You can share the address of this product page to promote it,
it will lead your visitors directly to the product on your site.

In addition, if you share the address of one of your articles on a social network, the title, description, image of your article and a link to it should be generated automatically.

Each time you add, modify or delete a product from your management interface,
the system generates a sitemap.xml file that references your products.
This file is read by search engines.
This improves the natural referencing of your products on the web.

At the bottom of each product page, a slideshow of related products is displayed.
The related products are the products of the same category or of all the child categories of that of the product.

Special program pages :

The application includes special pages such as the basket, the contact page or the order reminder page.

All these pages are accessible by URL request,
understand that if you enter their address in a browser, you will access them.

- The cart page has a cache system that will display the cart again even if the user refreshes this page.

- The order reminder page allows your buyers to check the progress of their order.

- The contact page allows your visitors to contact you by e-mail.

  When a user contacts you from the site,
a copy of the message is saved in the management part of your site, in the "Messages" tab.

  A user cannot perform actions such as buying or messaging you more than 10 times per day, this is a security measure.

You will be able to reply to your messages from this tab to send e-mails to stylized with the design of your shop.

Static pages :

The application allows you to create static pages.

Static pages are pages whose content changes little or not over time.

These pages allow you to maintain a blog, talk about your business or communicate what you want to your visitors.

  Note: You can create these pages from your management interface.

Important : For the moment, the program creates pages that you will find in the architecture of your site's folders in : Templates > STATIC_PAGES > example-my-page-created.html

However, you will need to edit the content of these pages using a code editor.
If you don't know what it is, hire a web developer, Placido-Shop is easy to use for developers and editing your static pages doesn't take much time.

At the beginning of the html code of each static page,
you will find information to insert a link or a button that will lead to your static page.

Of course, your static pages are directly accessible by URL,
so you can communicate its address to your contacts or publish its link on social networks.

Your static pages are automatically inserted (modified or deleted) in your sitemap.xml file.
This promotes their natural referencing with search engines.

Footer :

In the footer, the system automatically adds a public address and a phone number that you can choose to display or not, this is set from your management tab : "My store".

You can insert anything you want here, links to your social networks, a map to geolocate your store, links to your static pages.

  Note : If you don't know how to do it, enlist the services of a developer.

Responsive design :

Placido-shop is designed to adapt to all devices : mobiles, tablets, PC.

Progressive Web Application (PWA) :

The javaScript "PWA" technology consists of transforming a website into a real application for mobile or computers.

Still in the test phase, we have implemented the PWA technology in Placido-Shop.

Behind this technical term hides something very simple :

  Your visitors will be able to install your store as a real application on their smartphone or PC, regardless of the device used, the technology adapts to the user's device.

According to our information, this would substantially increase purchases on your store.

Moreover, if you have users who buy on your site on a daily basis, they will have the comfort of accessing it in one click from their desktop or their smartphone.

When your store is accessed through a PWA application, your store runs in a streamlined browser window.

On smartphones, your store will open as a classic application with the responsive design adapted to smartphones.

Your PWA application has the same functionalities as the classic view of your store.

  A PWA is also provided for access to the administration of your site, you can access it in one click !

You can configure your PWAs (private and public) from your management interface.

Eventually we would very much like to improve this functionality.
